One month!

OK, so it's technically 4 weeks, but Tatiana says that's considered a month. Seems to me that if you say that 4 weeks =1 month you end up with 13 months in a year . . .
She has been enjoying short stints on playmat recently, so that's kinda fun!

She's been going through a growth spurt, but things are going pretty well now. Made it out on a short shopping trip yesterday, and to church this evening. Calista seems to enjoy being in the sling, which is nice because that means Tatiana has two free hands (or at least 1.5). Se have more new pictures on Picasa again . . and hopefully more tomorrow - she will be 4 weeks old!

Three weeks old!

Not a very creative post title, but it's late. We made our first weekend excursion to Chincoteague with Calista, this weekend, and arrived back home recently. Had a good trip. These picture is taken on grandma and grandpa's couch in Chincoteague. Thanks to friend Natalie for the really cute bear outfit! More new pics on the Picasa site.

2 weeks old!

She is actually 15 days old now!! We took a few pics yesterday . . more are posted on Picasa (link at right), including some of her first bath.

Tiny hands

One of the most amazing things about a newborn baby is the tiny size of the their hands! She's adorable when she's sleeping, and she is often very alert . . calming her when she is fussy has been not been too bad so far :)

Cat looking for attention

I am not sure if it's related to the baby, but the cat has been engaged in lots of "cute" behavior recently. Today she was drinking from a water glass using her paw. Yesterday she took great interest in the smell emanating from a chocolate bar wrapper.

Deck stain

I expect we will be dealing with lots of other stains in the coming months, but this one is positive -- I stained the deck a few weeks ago when we had some good weather. Still needs some touch-up, and I did not have time to do the inside (porch).
